What in the
World is Going On? (2008)
It seems like
every time we turn around there's another natural disaster, social
problem, armed conflict, menacing disease, terrorist threat, or
moral dilemna for us to deal with. Our national resources are tapped,
our nerves are frayed, our confidence is shaken, and our hope for
a better tomorrow is all but lost. 1900 years ago, the last of the
Bible writers told us these days would be coming. Not to frighten
us, but to prepare us. Not to tell us "look out!" but
to tell us "look up!" That's why a better question in
light of these troublesome times is "What in the Word is going
on?" This six-part Bible study series by Pastor Raymond Woodward
will help you evaluate today's upsetting news in light of the Bible's
uplifting prophecies. There are answers...and there is hope. You
just have to know where to look.

Simple: A
Three-Part Study on the Plan of Salvation (2008)
In modern Christendom,
it seems there are almost as many variations on the plan of salvation
as there are denominations - a logical and theological nightmare!
Many have dealt with the problem by saying "we're all going
to the same place, so let's just forget doctrine and just love Jesus!"
The problem with this approach is simple - it is WRONG and eternally
dangerous! There are not two, ten or twenty ways to be saved - there
is only the BIBLE way to be saved. What matters is not a church's
opinion, a pastor's opinion, or even your opinion - just God's opinion!
There is only ONE biblical plan of salvation regardless of what
anyone else says, and in this three-part series Pastor Raymond Woodward
shares the good news that obeying the Gospel really is SIMPLE.

The Joshua
Generation (2008)
Israel in the
book of Joshua is in the same place that we stand today - on the
threshold of a new experience, on the way to a new level of living.
They are a new generation, holding an old promise that has never
yet been possessed. Those kinds of transitions are difficult, but
necessary if we are to be all that God has called us to be. God
is not transitioning Israel (or us!) to a place where there are
no more battles, but to a place where the battles are more strategic
- and therefore the results are more significant, influential and
eternal. The book of Joshua is a warfare handbook, and there are
lessons to learn in every battle waged that apply to us today.

Dead Man
Living (2008)
You've heard
the death row expression "Dead Man Walking"? Well, Paul
is on the first century equivalent of Death Row at the end of the
book of Acts, under house arrest in Rome and knowing that his only
hope of freedom lies in the hands of the despotic Emperor Nero.
Not a likely prospect! But you would never know it by the tone of
this "prison epistle." In the middle of the worst circumstances,
Paul is unmistakably HAPPY. Why? Because he has learned that the
WORST circumstances are often the BEST opportunities for God and
the gospel to work! That is a biblical principle we talk about,
but often our actions and attitudes show that we don't really believe
it! Paul obviously has something we need to have, and in this four-part
series Pastor Raymond Woodward gets inside the mind of this "Dead
Man Living."

Believer's
Boot Camp (2008)
Contrary to
the experience of many religious people today, becoming a Christian
is not like joining a social club, where you simply pay your dues
once in awhile, hang out occasionally with casual friends at the
group's facilities, and sit back to reap the prestigious benefits
of 'membership.' No, becoming a Christian in the biblical sense
of the word is more like enlisting in the army. We find out immediately
that a conflict is raging with eternal consequences for us and for
others, and that every experience of our new life with God is actually
training for this intense spiritual warfare. The good news is that
our Commander is a brilliant military strategist, and He has already
defeated our Enemy hands down. However, He has left it up to us
to enforce every day in earth's trenches the victory He has won
in the Heavenlies. The book of Ephesians serves as a Believers Boot
Camp, teaching us that the church is equipped with vast spiritual
weaponry in order to accomplish this very task. All that remains
is for us to unseal our marching orders, take up our weapons, and
storm the gates of Hell. Victory is ours if we fight for it! In
this six-part series, Pastor Raymond Woodward shares serious training
for serious Christians.

The Ten Commitments
(2008)
There is a widespread
assumption in basically all world religions - including Christianity
- that we must somehow "measure up" in order for God to
accept us. Where did that idea come from? Do you believe it? If
someone asked you if you are going to Heaven, what would your kneejerk
reaction be? Would you instinctively associate your behaviour with
your acceptability to God? Don't you think that is why a lot of
people avoid church? Or why a lot of Christians live under condemnation?
Or why a lot of Apostolics struggle with the Scripture's teaching
about our lifestyle convictions? Could it be that they feel like
God has given a bunch of rules for no real reason except to "prove"
us? That way of thinking has done more to alienate people from God
than any other idea in history! But ironically, if ever God has
sent the world a message, it is this message - you won't ever find
acceptance with God through your behaviour! How in the world have
we missed that?! The secret to the connection between God's RULES
and the RELATIONSHIP that He wants to have with us isn't just a
New Testament concept - it is also buried in a familiar Old Testament
event that we know as the giving of "The Ten Commandments."
In this five-part series, Pastor Raymond Woodward shows us that
these "commandments" are really "commitments"
- we do them not because we are trying to merit a relationship with
God, but because we already have one!

Unbelievable
(2007)
We say some
things are 'unbelievable' because they are IMPROBABLE; we say other
things are 'unbelievable' because they are REMARKABLE. In this four-part
series, Pastor Raymond Woodward shares four UN-believable realities
of the Christian faith - an unmistakable salvation, an unavoidable
eternity, an unstoppable church, and our unacceptable level of commitment
to evangelism in light of it all.

Cross My
Heart (2007)
You have two
hearts - a physical one and a spiritual one. Your spiritual heart
seeps into every conversation. It dictates every relationship, impacts
the intensity of your communication, and exaggerates your sensitivities
and insensitivities. Everything passes through your heart. And just
like your physical heart is susceptible to disease, your spiritual
heart can also fall prey to "heart attackers." We are
sometimes tempted to just treat the day-to-day symptoms that stem
from an unhealthy spiritual heart while ignoring the deeper issues.
But as is the case with the physical heart, eventually the root
problem will become the real problem. And just as a heart attack
has the potential to destroy your body, so spiritual heart disease
has the potential to destroy you and your most valuable relationships.
In this five-part series, Pastor Raymond Woodward shares valuable
information on how to diagnose - and cure - the imbalances that
plague your spiritual heart.

iLife (2007)
The Scriptures
teach that our thoughts about ourselves, about others and about
God actually create the life that we live every day. In this three-part
series, Pastor Raymond Woodward teaches us that if we change the
way we think, we can change our reality - and our eternity. The
three lessons are: iSearch (I Can't Believe My 'I'), iLove (Seeing
'I' to 'I'), and iBelieve (More Than Meets the 'I').

Daniel: A
Prophecy Primer (2007)
In this six-part
series, Pastor Raymond Woodward walks through the Old Testament
book of Daniel and explains what this ancient prophet's writings
mean in our modern times. If you've struggled to understand the
meaning of the strange stories and cryptic visions in this book,
you will enjoy this practical verse-by-verse study that helps us
see God's plan for the ages.

Some Assembly
Required (2007)
Many Christians
commend to others a life they don't seem to live themselves, posing
as tour guides to territory on which they've never set foot. The
life they actually live seems to be only a cruel parody of the dreams
they've dreamed. They've told themselves a thousand times that it
won't happen again. They've repented so many times that it's beyond
counting. They struggle often ... and they ask themselves "why
isn't my faith in God enough?" The answer is found in the writings
of the Apostle Peter who boldly proclaims, "You already have
everything you need for life and godliness!" You already have
faith, you just need to know how to use it. Faith is the foundation,
yes - but it is just the foundation. In this seven-part series,
Pastor Raymond Woodward expounds on Peter's teaching to let us know
that some assembly is required in the Christian life. We have all
the pieces we need, and all the necessary instructions - now, we
just need to put them together!

Wisdom From
Above (2006)
In this five-part
series, Pastor Raymond Woodward looks at the "life grid"
found in the Old Testament's wisdom literature. The five lessons
are "Dumb and Smarter" (Proverbs), "Hurt Happens"
(Job), "Love Is Blind" (Song of Solomon), "What's
The Point?" (Ecclesiastes), and "Wholly Human" (Psalms).
In this Bible study, you will learn how to put the good and bad
parts of your life in perspective using the timeless teachings of
Scripture.

The Tabernacle:
God's Blueprint for Relationship (2006)
The Tabernacle
is an incredibly important consideration in the study of the Old
Testament. There are only 2 chapters about creation in the Bible,
but there are 42 chapters about the tabernacle plan! The entire
purpose of the Tabernacle was to allow a holy God to have a relationship
with sinful people. But this relationship could only function properly
if the people of Israel put the tent together according to God's
plan. If they did, then God promised that He would show up with
His power and provision. In this eight-part series, Pastor Raymond
Woodward examines the beautiful and powerful symbolism found in
the various furnishings of this ancient place of worship. Taken
together, they become a "How To" manual for an everyday
relationship with our Saviour.

How To Live
Like a King's Kid (2006)
The Apostle
Paul never got to go to Rome until near the end of his life. That
"delay" is why we have the book of Romans, written in
advance to a group of believers he had never met. And that is why
Romans is Paul's masterpiece of theology, explaining the great gospel
of Jesus Christ and the riches of our salvation. However, many of
God's children live below the privileges that rightfully belong
to them as King's Kids. In this ten-part series, Pastor Raymond
Woodward gives an overview of this important New Testament epistle
and teaches us how to access the royalty that is already within
us as children of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Party Time
(2006)
The ancient
Jews were required to appear before the Lord three times each year,
during the three major feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.
In this three-part series, Pastor Raymond Woodward gives an overview
of the rich symbolism of the Feasts of the Lord, showing how they
have a literal fulfillment in Israel, a typical fulfillment in Christ,
and a spiritual fulfillment in the church. And, just like ancient
Israel, when we come before the Lord in worship we are taught to
not show up empty handed ... so bring a gift, it's party time!
