The Apostle Paul made discipling the next generation of leaders the central focus of his ministry. The four epistles covered in this ten-part series were probably written while he was in prison toward the end of his ministry. They are unique among all his writings because they are personal, addressed to individuals in leadership roles rather than to churches as a whole. Paul has had a “mentoring role” in the lives and ministries of each of these young leaders (Timothy, Titus, and Philemon), so he feels at liberty to speak freely. Here more than anywhere else we see Paul being transparent about ministry and leadership. These are not just letters TO leaders, but letters FOR leaders to learn from. This 10-week series is taught by Pastor Raymond Woodward.
